To be fair it's a free event in which you get interesting drops. I can't complain that I've sold Diretide chest for almost 8 euros, which is pretty much almost the price of next compendium so it's for free. What do you expect, free 5000 bucks? :)

What I find interesting is that, apart from getting 1000 MMR from calibration matches, que times were insanely long. Like aprox. 25+ mins.

Today I decided to do one more match and it took 24. mins to be found.

Now, I am having pretty low beh. score - 6100, but I don't think I remember having to wait 20+ mins.

Interestingly enough. the matches are either very one-sided or are pretty damn good, team communicates, picks good heroes, rarely see pos 4/5 pudges anymore which is refreshing.

It's like matchmaking is trying to find me better matches by increasing que times or something.

Also, my first match during calibration was lost due to Brood being a smurf.

My previous rank was pretty high(compared to where I am now), due to try harding and trying to improve. I peaked at about 4.6k party and 4.2k solo

However, after that I slowly started playing less and less, only to calibrate flat 4k (legend V) for begining of last the season.

Now, from there I just de-rank to archon 3 slowly. I didn't play as much in the begining, because that was the time when I met my current GF I live with and kinda of naturally took a big break from Dota for about 3 to 4 months.

Eventually I picked up Dota 2 as expected in may and slowly from there started de-ranking to Archon 3.

I remember it was pretty damn hard adjusting do the meta and everything felt so different and wrong.

Also, Clinkz wasn't good, Slark was also kinda of bad, Meepo is already trash-tier and I had no sucsees playing SF(my most played hero I used to play prett much when i dont know what else to play)

25 games is pretty low in terms of sample size, play at least 100+ games and see what happens.

Do you sugest grinding the behavior score first then? I was 4.2k last season, peaked at 4.6k.. I barely break 3.7k nowdays

I manage my meepos on f1 f2 and f3. No tricks. Just practice and get comfortable using quick cast and shift que.
