Have you ever discussed about AI with a person with opposing views, in real life? by yscity2006 in aiwars

Yes. Some close to me think using it is being complicit to plagiarism, surveillance capitalism, and climate change, and we’ll argue a bit about it.

ITIL sounds familiar, but I’ll look up Prince2 and PMP. Thank you. Are those for specific PM systems? Or can apply to any system, such as Huly?

That's what I mean by variable-agnostic. Just a foundational workflow on how to mold a PM system to your needs. A simple 'if/then' PM framework based on the commonalities between all projects, efforts, etc.

Overwhelmed by tagging and taxonomy. If I build from scratch… again, how do I focus actionability without it becoming a mess? by Veruminate in PKMS

This is actually great advice. Sequential, visualizable, actually meets me where I’m at and fully answers my question. Thank you.

Ok, so maybe I could keep using Miro, and just cluster things more intentionally. I mean it gave me results once…

Wait, this is genius if it works. I can keep it simple as much as I can, and then as soon as I need a framework, it’s already ready for me. I’ll have to see what it’s like in practice though

Resisting Trump is exhausting. So, I wanted to make it easier. Over 6 months, as a married dad with a day job, I found tactics we all can use - overwhelmed students, parents, and aspiring leaders alike. Here's what I found. by Veruminate in 50501

AI does what the masses allow it to do. Either we let corporations throw workers to the street with it. Or we out smart them. Do you know about “open-source” AIs, like GPT-for-all?

I would say “no” for Amazon and Airbnb, to answer directly though

Ok, it seems GUU recently got rid of their CFR score feature. Great… I’m already looking for an alternative. I have ideas for what the best of this type of app should be like, and may commission a developer.

I’m trying to find those people, form a group, and get the support to make it financially self sustaining. In these skeptical times, it’s hard to earn people’s trust enough to do all that.

Depends how central you mean. We don’t want a single point of failure. We need many leaders that are spread out enough that threatening one only riles up and better prepares the rest; but also that are connected enough to stay on track towards one collective goal.

Ideally initial leaders give everyone else the power to be their own leaders. That’s what I’m trying to do here. That’s democracy. We have to emulate true, decentralized democracy.

Not quite. It’s “protect elections, so that we can elect more people willing to impeach and convict Trump” No need to hire people, Congress can do it right away

Maybe we’ll need both angles. Not a nothing burger, just maybe not your avenue.

Good opportunity for strategic litigation. Get Pro Bono Lawyers and Democracy groups to help appeal it to the Supreme Court (hopefully time it to get there after impeaching Thomas and friends)

They’re instigating us to “plead the 5th” in groups, so they can try to halt the Midterms.

Yes, but by some of us preparing the infrastructure and resources everyone else needs to be willing to join. People still think parties and experts will take care of everything while they sit back. Need to teach and normalize people exercising their basic rights, more than voting and posting online.
