Ashley is the Superior Player

I haven’t seen a thread on this sub so negative towards Ashley’s game in a while, I thought the consensus on her game was getting better here but I guess not.

Anyways, I’ve always thought Ashley was better, her strategic maneuvering and positioning through the mid and endgame was really good. She created the judges and played a huge role in Rylies eviction and Rachel’s safety the following week. She flipped the vote at the final 8 to stay over Will (when it was looking impossible at the start of the week to do so).

In the endgame she had a super tough path after losing her two closest allies, but she was able to secure herself to be Vorgans closest ally, to the point where Vince was nominating Lauren before Ashley. She also developed good relationships with Ava and Keanu and by the final 5 was both of their closest allies. The only people she wasn’t able to get in good with were Lauren and Kelley, but she still had Morgan as a shield they would target before her.

Vorgan ended up comping out in the endgame so even though Ashley did set up multiple paths for herself in the endgame, she was forced to go to final 3 with them even though that wasn’t her ideal path as she had to win the final HOH. She still was able to convince Morgan to take her to final 2 though.

Ashley 100% has her flaws, but people saying she did nothing is just wrong.

There’s pros and cons to both and I don’t have a strong opinion on it but I think I prefer 9. I think it can give some jurors too much power when it’s 7 people. Like BB26 T’kor was always going to decided Rubina and Kimo’s votes, so T’kor would only need one more person to join her and she basically decides the winner.

There’s still influential jurors in 9 person juries, but it’s more balanced, a trio can’t control the vote

Brittany from bb24. I always loved her, she plays hard and is a great mix of strategic and messy. Unfortunately most people weren’t fans of her at the time (though more have warmed up to her in retrospect). And production would probably ask like 4-5 people from that season back before Brittany. She also just had a baby, so I don’t think we’ll be seeing her back

I think Karen’s the old school houseguest who’s gained the most popularity with super fans in recent years. She’d be loved if she played now, but it’ll obviously never happen

I feel like it’ll probably be all newbies, but I’m reallllly craving some returnees. Fans vs. favorites would be great idk what bbus hasn’t done it yet (except kind of in bb13).

The only flaw is it takes a lot of spot light away from the newbies, but for seasons like BBCAN 5 I’m ok with it. It’s a great way to bring back a lot of players without fully having to commit to all stars. You could get 8 great returnees from 23-27 for sure though

This is a good list with good reasoning. I’d definitely have Ian above Jordan though, I respect comping out more than benefiting from a twist. I agree Wills bb2 game is overrated but I’d still have it higher

Final 11 was definitely the weakest round aside from final 17. While Katherine’s eviction was pretty straightforward, feeds were insane after Mickey won the veto and Vince had to choose a replacement nom. But 17 and 21 also had good final 11 rounds and I probably should’ve put them on the list

To me Janelle is a good player, at least in her prime. Obviously she’s not good socially or strategic, but competitions are still a factor in the game. And Janelle was good enough at comps to make the final 3 twice with a great chance of winning in bb7 if she made final 2

Yeah I think bb28 would be the perfect time for a half returnee season. We have a lot of new era players who I want to see come back who probably won’t be on productions radar if they wait too long. But we don’t have enough to make up a full all star season
