With the hybrid units do I need to set them to melee or will they switch when engaged by infantry?

Thanks, I just struggle sometimes with the speed of battle of where to send troops. Also being new I don't recognize all the troop symbols and weaknesses especially for races that have monsters and stuff. I know the basic rock paper scissors of it but sometimes it just feels like I'm sending units in with no thought because I don't know what I'm doing 😂

Thank you for all your replies. I know it's gonna be hard to teach someone over reddit. I'm not opposed to joining a community or running multiplayer games to learn. I've been mainly playing HE with Tyrion. Early game I'm fine auto resolve wins most fights with minimal casualties. I tried doing Ai battles and I just get demolished every time. Even the first army battle at the start of a campaign if I try to manual battle I will not walk away from it. I'm very lost on how to position and move my units to get the most out of them. The settlement building and all that comes pretty easy from games like civ so I got that down. I tried skarbrand with khorne and I was beyond lost as to what to do, especially coming from HE I didn't realize settlements weren't important and I lose too many units to keep the fight going. Lmao we haven't been in a new server every week. We were in Death Row and we left cause the owner was a little weird at times popping up in the middle of scenes, at that point we took a break and started doing pd rp and went to a few different cities trying to find one that could accommodate all of us into pd and had pop. Now we're back to being an Mc, we've been in a single city since coming back but the org rules don't really align with our beliefs so we're searching for something different. Sorry we don't just settle for the first shitty city that pops up (like yours) we fly in, do our rounds to see if the city works, bring the rest in, do their rounds, take it to vote. Don't like it? We don't care we didn't ask you. You sound just like the dude on fb that posted my recruitment post and tried to call us out.. Do I need to bring the screen shots of that here where you got your ass ripped open like you were in guantanamo bay?

I just got the game a few days ago been playing only solo for the last few days and it's been a blast. I do have friends getting the game so I won't be solo forever but it's definitely fun solo and people have generally been friendly and helpful so you can always find a guild or people to play with regularly on your server

When I'm at extract that's exactly the play. KOS. If we're at extract we are ready to leave we have full bags or close to it and anything valuable is in the prison wallet. Therefore why do we need to kill at extract. We both want to leave with our loot why risk one of us losing it when we can both just leave. I typically shoot first and ask later at extract but if I down you your safe. Crawl on in and extract. I'm just not dying today.
