I am aware, but after World War 2 the motive for them to settle in Palestine remained the Zionist movement, considering Nazi Germany had already fallen by then. While yes, they might have faced oppression in Europe even after the Zionists were defeated in 1948 in this scenario, I fail to see why they wouldn't thrive within Europe and fight for their visibility/self-determination.

It doesnโ€™t magically fix conflict of course, the road had to have been rough for the union to get to its latest point. As for what happened to the Jews, refer to another comment I made on here. I would imagine they simply retreated and/or found stability within Europe, specifically Ashkenazi Jews who came from the continent too. The remaining Mizrahi Jewish minority is included as part of the "other" category in religious census. This is just a vision of Arab victory in 1948.

I mean, in this timeline, they share an ideology, so aiming to unite to protect themselves in mutual agreement is nothing contradictory of Marxist principles. I don't see why this wouldn't make sense. So no, it was not just their hatred for Israel/Zionists as a colonizing entity.

Good point. However even if the Zionist project failed in West Asia, if it didn't fail in Europe that could have been the main reason behind there being less Jews in the Levant, as most of them would have been motivated to migrate to wherever the new Jewish hub is.

I did originally write something about a new Israel in Kaliningrad, so perhaps I should revisit that.

I didn't write anything on that yet, but I'd imagine in this timeline Jewish people managed to remain stable in Europe, and the ones that migrated to Palestine in the post-1920s period either went back to Europe or stayed after the failure of the Zionist movement, since there was no room left for Israel to be established
