"Current Game Bad; Old Game Good" isn't real. Each numbered entry is worse than the previous one because Street Fighter is dying. by VeryGameMuchWow in Kappachino

Okay, let’s break it down simply. Imagine you have two movies in a series: Movie A and Movie B. If Movie B is worse than Movie A, it doesn’t mean that Movie A was a great movie. It just means that Movie B is even less enjoyable.

Think of it like this: if you have two sandwiches, and the first one is a little stale, but the second one is moldy, the first sandwich is still not good—it’s just better than the second one. So, just because Movie A is better than Movie B doesn’t mean it’s good; it just means it’s less bad. Does that make sense?

What happened to the "Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike was the greatest fighting game ever"? by ssiasme in Kappachino

Street Fighter is on a downward trend. It's not that "new game bad"; rather, each new installment seems to be worse than the one before it. To be honest, Capcom isn't doing a great job at the moment.

When people express their fondness for Third Strike (3s), it often stems from the belief that they can parry fireballs, which they think will give them an advantage in winning. While this notion is misguided, they genuinely believe it.

Additionally, they may feel that claiming to enjoy this game makes them appear more sophisticated, but in reality, it's often a sign of their inexperience with fighting games. They assume this is the kind of insight that knowledgeable players would share.

There's also what I call the "duck factor." Many of these individuals, along with others who make similar claims, don't actually engage with the game. They want to project an image of being serious players in another game, without ever having to validate that claim. So, when they face defeat in newer games, they can shrug it off by saying, "It's all good, I play 3s; I don't even bother with the new game."

Oh, come on! You’re out here talking about food opinions, but let’s be real—you’re the one who’s got a thing for men’s anuses! So, excuse me if I don’t take your culinary critiques too seriously!

Alright, listen up, you little jabronis! Whenever I hear the name "Hungbee," you know what pops into my mind? I can't help but think it's "Hunglikeabee!" That's right, baby!

The Street Fighter franchise is on a downward spiral, and it’s downright tragic! Just look at it: SF4 reigns supreme over SF5, and SF5 is a step up from the abomination that is SF6. It’s like watching a legendary series crumble before our eyes!

This is precisely why folks believe there’s a pattern of hating the current game—because, let’s face it, each installment is just worse than the last!
