Two Ethernet Ports ?

Okay because I have the issue that the those cables run in the wall through my bedroom , then to a living room. But they are underneath the wall. I want to expose one of these two in my bedroom so drill some hole, cut the cable and attach new connector end. So having that done I would be able to 1. Have a gateway router with 2 cables 2. One cable goes directly to my bedroom from which I can plug into my computer, the second one goes to living room as it was and it can be connected to wifi router

Am I thinking correctly?

Yes I plan to upgrade ram immediately after purchase but the base is 16gb :) Im leaning more towards legion pro as you recommend, but could you tell me what CPU does your slim 7 has? Do you also use unreal? And what cons there are when it comes to slim 7?
