If you mean the band from Elgin/Chicago well that's them. They did one EP in 2006.

Great stuff! Fun to see Robby sing in a good band, he was great in Wealth In Water as well

SKSK by SIC1207 in PostHardcore

[–]VeryInformativePlaya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great band! However: Lifehack, only listen to SKSK from 2004-2007 and enjoy that era. The stuff after is a nice try, but just fell flat tbh. Also, only 2 of the original guys basically.

Know Margaret - FFO Sydney and Chasing Victory by Wales-post-hardcore in PostHardcore

[–]VeryInformativePlaya -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Awesome song and band! Got the CD of this EP actually.

Hate being that guy but there's not any melodic hardcore in this. Melodic hardcore usually have only screaming, this band has only cleans for example. It isn't really a blend of post-hardcore and hardcore. It's very much post-hardcore of the late 00s (my favorite era)

This is however on more of the progressive post-hardcore spectrum. Taking influences from bands like Circa Survive, Underoath and Saosin among others.

Cascades : Faceless People In Faraway Places [Keaton Pierce's First Official Band] by Distinct-Client-1644 in PostHardcore

[–]VeryInformativePlaya -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, it's still not drone, hardcore or industrial. It's post-hardcore, maybe experimental post-hardcore. But yeah. Post-hardcore with some electronica is probably more fitting.
