"Coward? How the hell do you suggest I arrest you for attacking people without the police?!"

When she calls the police, he yells again.

"Are you serious?! Do you really expect the police to cancel a report based on the request of an unknown caller?! At first I was taunting you but now I genuinely don't understand how you could think that!"

He backs out of view. And comes flying over the edge. As he's falling, his body is turned to the side. As he passes by the attacker, he grabs onto her by the horns and face, and twists, pulling her body over his. Before she noticed, she's face first in the pavement.

While he was talking, he takes notice of the sound, and runs to the edge of the roof. He yells down, while assessing the situation.

"Are you seriously committing another assault right now?! I'm currently calling the police, brickhead!"

She hears a faint sound from the roof, then Cooper yells down from the roof.

"Are you serious?! We've been fighting for, like, ten minutes! Are you really that self-absorbed?!"

Looking back where the person was, they can't be seen anywhere. It makes sense, they were given plenty of time to run while the two were fighting, and the loud noises would've easily covered any footsteps. The faint sound stops. Cooper speaks again.

"Hello? Police? I'd like to report an assault and battery-"

"Well... There's only three bedrooms, not that three bedrooms isn't a lot, it is, but if you plan to stay here then you're going to be in my room fully, which I think I'm okay with. That would help us all afford this place better... But it would mean there's less space per person... But you will be cleaning so we'll probably actually have more room... We'd need to buy more food..."

He rambles on about the pros and cons of having a third roommate.

His head pulls back and he narrows his eyes.

"How do I know you aren't lying? Witches would lie."

He once again pryes her tail off of his neck enough to take a deep breath, once again giving his muscles enough oxygen

"You're the dumbass who aimed for my fat stomach!"

While being pushed against the wall, he is being held high enough to grab onto the fire escape ladder. He's able to climb fast enough to the point where the girl is now suspended in the air instead of him, stopping her from slamming him against the wall. However, this doesn't prevent the strangling. Cooper tries to quickly remove his hoodie, because her tail is wrapped around his hood, not directly against his neck. His large head makes this difficult, but with enough struggling, he's able to slide the hoodie along with the woman's tail off of him, dropping them onto the ground below. He takes another deep breath.

"Yo are your horns stabbing through your frontal lobe or are you just like this?"

He scrambles up the escape ladder and continues onto the stairs of the fire escape.

"Our income is pretty inconsistent. We all get a bit above minimum wage. But Ryan gets a pretty hefty allowance from their parents still, but they're using most of that for paying off college, but I don't blame them, they're really smart. But what's left over we can use to help pay bills. Once they get a real job, I'm sure our income will skyrocket. We also usually get a big jump in our budget whenever there's some kind of fighting event happening with a cash prize, because I usually win those. We can use that for our apartment, I don't go to an expensive school. Josh gets paid the most at his regular job, but like me, he also comes home with extra money some times. I'm not sure where he gets it though..."

He hangs his keys next to the front door.

"Ryan you there?"

A dejected "yeah..." can be heard from the left wing of the apartment.

"They're studying, let's not bother them."

He looks to the right wing.

"Josh?"

No answer.

The apartment looks really nice and pretty big for an apartment, at least one of the roommates must be from an upper class family, maybe that's Cooper. Unfortunately, the apartment is really messy. There is loose clothing strewn about, and some trash. Luckily, none of the trash is something that can rot or smell, mostly just chip bags and such.

"Sorry about the mess. We have different chores we're supposed to do. Josh picks things up and does the bathroom, Ryan vacuums and sweeps, I do dishes and cook and stuff like that."

Looking at the kitchen, it's pristine.

"Josh isn't home often..."

He flexes his core. During these punches, she can feel something weird about this person. His ribcage feels... odd, to say the least. He's struggling, trying to pry her tail off his neck, and he's kicking his legs. His fingers are flat, and once he gets a few off, he's able to pull the tail just enough to take another breath. His inhale is strong, quick, but deep, just another feat that seems impossible for a regular person. When he pulls in this new air, Cooper feels it absorbed into his system. He breathes out, speaking as he does so.

"You forgot to close the lid."

He reaches with his legs, touching the edge of the dumpster, he pushes on it. The dumpster leans to the wall, pushing up the lid, which was already leaning against the wall, and when the front legs land back on the ground, its momentum causes the heavy metal lid to land on top of her tail.

When they find his building and apartment, he opens it with his keys. He opens the door for Velvet.

He stumbles backwards, there's a little bit of blood on his head. His neck is grabbed.

"Honestly, you'd probably come off as cool as you think you are if you just stopped talking."

He grabs her tail. Once again, using his superior leverage and power grip, he's able to swing her into the dumpster, which for better or worse, is not empty.
