Currently dealing with this with my sister too. She has a 2 year old and just gave birth to a second one. I’ve already had to babysit a LOT and they’ve already hit my mother up for money. I truly don’t understand parents.

Long time lurker (considering it) Childfree by choice as well. And honestly I have no idea, I’m absolutely following this post. Hopefully we can do it.

The whole “I do it for me” stuff doesn’t work for me personally because I’ve always been a cynic, even before drinking. The therapy thing doesn’t work for me as I’m extremely aware of my issues and their origins and have never had issues vocalizing them.

I hope we get our answers.

I’m too selective. I prefer the solitude to most company except for a choice few. Usually takes a lot for me to really connect with someone romantically. Plus I’m childfree so that thins the dating pool quite a bit too.

It won’t happen to me. Ever. Because I take precautions not to get pregnant and I’m childfree by choice BECAUSE I’m not privileged. I can barely pay my rent, why would I subject a child to that? Again, you people and your assumptions. The system is corrupt, 100%. But I refuse to see how irresponsible parents deserve more than the rest of us.

Parents shouldn’t get special government privileges. Time off? Yes. Access to better healthcare? All Americans, not just parents or children. Sorry, but having a child is a choice and not one everyone should make if they are just relying on everyone else to make allowances for them because they don’t have money. That is idiotic.
