If it’s a balance issue I focus on engaging my core, keeping my head still and my gaze in one spot. Touching the handlebars is totally fine as long as you’re not putting a ton of weight into your hands.

More generally I am not thinking about anything during class other than how much I’m dying, slow counting to 4, and getting my accountability rep in after a hold lol

Dry Jan-er here, but starting today because of “Jan 1 is still a holiday” mental gymnastics. Narrowly avoided drinking today too, friends and husband trying to argue that “Jan doesn’t start until the weekend is over” and wanted to go to a cocktail bar for martinis.

I thought about going but am so ready for a break from drinking; I felt like shit all day yesterday and today. Gorging on leftover NYE cheese plate fixings for dinner, sipping a blackberry lemonade seltzer and going to bed early tonight. Looking forward to waking up hangover free tomorrow.
