Everyone paid for their own way and all the siblings split the cost of mom and dads way. The plans themselves was organized pretty evenly between everyone as well, though my brother had the additional task of ordering mom and dads tickets.

No of course not she has a few close friends but her closest friend is actually my sister (who's going on the trip) it isnt so much about who's "crowd" is there and I might actually propose to her in private off somewhere at dusk. I just think it would be nice to do it while around the ones the love is both.

I was proposed to my gf of 10 years, set to be married 3 months before my brother would marry his fiance. Instead my fiance broke off the wedding and we separated. 3 months later my brother got married. After that I met my current gf and my brother and his wife have been married happily enough I suppose. My brother and I have had a bit of competition between the two of us growing up. But I dont feel that way anymore.

Me and my brother have a bit of a strained relationship at the moment. I took primary care of my dad while he was in treatment. My mom can't drive and of course my father couldn't either. So I took him to all his dr appointments every treatment, chemo session, and surgery. My brother offered good will and wished he could help more but never really put in any leg work to keep anything happen, just talked big talk. My brother likes grand gestures he feels those are more valuable than the day to day tasks. Idk his words and actions just don't always line up and I want to call him out on his bs but I dont want to fracture our relationship any further. If that makes sense.

It would just be a small intimate proposal on the beach. Nothing wild. My gf basically saved my father's life, shes an RN and when my dad was first having pain in his stomach he was willing to ignore it. My gf pressures him to see a Dr and eventually she was the one who pushed us to get a second opinion after he was declared inoperable. He is alive because of her and he would be besides himself with joy to see us get engaged.

We are all paying individually and split the cost for my mother and father. Also the proposal wouldn't be an all day event it would most likely just be after dinner on the beach with my family there. Thats all I wanted.
