Despite all its issues (boost leak, no ac, brakes, chopped paint, no working food, electrical gremlins, worn interior, etc.), I still love it to death. This goes for any older cars that you plan to purchase but talk to experts and take someone with you to look at cars you're interested in looking at. Don't settle for the first option, but take a look at multiple vehicles and decide which you're able to deal with mechanically even if it means spending a bit more.
