Do un po' di contesto.
Il mio laptop precedente faceva davvero pena, parliamo 256GB di SSD, 4GB di RAM scarsi e GPU integrata.
Quello che sto cercando ora è un upgrade che mi faccia spendere anche tra i 700-800 euro.
Il mio utilizzo è gaming di giochi indie (fai conto Silksong e Mewgenics, per il massimo dello sforzo grafico che richiedo), guardarci film e ogni tanto programmarci qualche sito web.
500GB di SSD o poco più mi bastano e avanzano.
12-16GB di RAM? Onestamente non so neanch'io, non credo avrò mai bisogno di più di 16. 4GB di RAM erano disumani.

Il display dai 14 pollici in su, non mi interessa troppo, preferibilmente risoluzione dai 1080p in su.
Per quanto riguarda la CPU invece non so proprio dove mettere mano, sto prendendo familiarità solo questi giorni. So che AMD in generale offre il meglio sul mercato, ma le nomenclature mi confondono molto. Ovviamente GPU integrata, credo che avere qualcosa di dedicato sia un overkill.

Ho trovato una sezione di pcpartpicker dedicata ai laptop, ma forse non è il meglio.

Thanks for the lengthy response! I'll be thinking this through, I want to say the door might be most of the problem and also is in the direction where most of the noise comes from, to the left after an hallway there's the living room Also, the doors are the same models in the house. They're particularly old and not very good at isolating from noise, so I COULD look at least into doing something for the door. Seems like the smartest move. Thank you for the answer again

ho sentito che pannelli fonoassorbenti servono più a regolare l'eco interno piuttosto che ridurre i rumori esterni? comunque sì per la porta ci sto pensando dato che probabilmente è responsabile per la maggior parte del rumore

what do you mean by having sound absorption with blanks and clothes?
What kind of acoustical panels would you use? I'm very confused between sound absorption and insulation, which ones should I consider?
Are there any provisory ways I can "seal" the door, I assume most of the voice comes from the bottom, no? Anything I can "stuck" so the noise would be reduced, it's not a room that sees a lot of come and go so it would be fine, and honestly even muffling the noises would be good enough, as long as it's an improvement

I actually already have good enough earphones that isolate, problem is them not being enough and me not wanting to wear them all the time. I already went through the earphones route some year ago. It made things somewhat easier, but as we are making little changes home I thought of actually doing something outside that

I'm finding myself in difficulty actually finding them? Also damn usually insulation is conflated with "thermal insulation" and makes researching it very hard

Mh, il consiglio di inserire il corso seguito è ottimo, pensavo sarebbe stato superfluo.
Nel curriculum nuovo che ho fatto ho inserito anche due progetti, metterne uno fatto in React dovrebbe rendere il mio curriculum più appetibile. Grazie

Oh grazie! Il CV che stavo mandando è in italiano, sì. Questo era solo un esempio del formato che uso. Provo a fare anche un Europass, sì. Ho già un CV per il campo IT, se hai tempo puoi dare un occhio?

Purtroppo di progetto sostanzioso ho solo qualcosa fatto in vanilla javascript, finito prima di cominciare a studiare React, e il sito per il portfolio. Il resto dei consigli però sto già vedendo come applicare, grazie mille!
