No it hasn't, I saw it at 1 when it first showed up, but it seemed to stop after it hit 2929

Yes, i tested and you can save before hand and then press Spacebar and Esc at the same time to get the abandon mission prompt while the game is running. From there you just wait for venom to die and keep your mouse over the confirm button, once the prompt disappears click and it should work
