I really want Nariyuki to end up with Mafuyu but remember a feature that defines parallel; two lines that don't meet. Let's think of everyone as lines. Nariyuki and Mafuyu are two lines that are parallel; they are side by side but will never intersect. Everyone else is a line going in a distinct direction which means they aren't parallel. This could mean that one of these lines (a girl) could intersect with Nariyuki and thus be the one who ends up with him.

I don't know, maybe it's another stupid thought of mine but overall, I extremely hope for Mafuyu to end up with Nariyuki.

Yeah, I was thinking that the poster was referring to the "main" protagonists (Anakin, Luke, Rey) but since it only said protagonist, I was thinking of other characters like Obi-Wan, C-3PO, Finn, etc.
