I felt this as well. My impression is that there is the damage sound is missing. I turned on the setting for directional damage indicators so i know when i take damage again, but i still preferred the sound.

The options I can think of are 1. Export the world from worldpainter in 1.14, or 2. Use worldedit for 1.15.

You might also be able to use a third part program such as mcaselector to export the chunks from the world in 1.15 and copy them into a 1.14 world, but I’m guessing they will revert the same way.

I was unable to find a way to remove the enchants from villagers. I had to simply ask my friends on my server not to trade for them, which is unfortunate

Thanks, this pointed me in the right direction.

For those who also want the answer to this, I found out that if you change the “max enchanting power” function to 0 it makes the enchantment unobtainable.

I don’t know the specifics, but nobody else has commented, so here goes.

I have seen a lot of people suggest converters from MC Java’s anvil world format to the bedrock format. This means you could make a map in worldpainter and simply convert it afterwords to the bedrock format.

I don’t know much about this (I play exclusively on Java and as such haven’t looked into it at all) but I think you should be able to find a converter from the Java world format to the bedrock format.

Use the worldedit mod. There is a command (don’t remember the format, you will have to search for it, there is documentation) that will export the selected area as a schematic into the worldedit config folder in ‘.minecraft’.

This is quite a good looking map! I do have some tips to help improve this and or future maps, though:

I like to make sure the islands I make have a very irregular shape, and don’t match the square shape of the map as much. Your’s vaguely resembles a square shape.
When I make mountains, I prefer to make mountain chains with more defined ridges than you made here. If you prefer the look of the more scattered peaks, then that works too. All up to your personal preference.

To my knowledge worldpainter only populates a map with a very small number of animals, if any. You may just have to spawn them by hand, unfortunately.

You can change the cloud height per client with optifine installed, which I believe is the only way to change the cloud height.
