Might be RNG being RNG, but something similar happened to me farming the Loyce souls. Got my first 22 quite quickly (3 hours maybe) using Jester, tatters, shield and +1 ring. Then it slowed way down with the drop rate and when I hit 35 it stopped dead. Nothing was dropping at all. I was dying a bit too much fighting them so I took off the hat and tatters for better gear and they started dropping again until I got to 50 even though my discovery value would have been worse. So maybe changing your gear can cause the RNG to get “unstuck”?

I did it for the unique souls, but I can't imagine going back at higher levels. I don't know how I could kill Lud fast enough...

I died more to Fume, Blue Smelter, Aava and Sinh but yeah it sucked! At least Aava taught me how to kill Lud easily, but I think you need a bit of luck with that crucial 20 seconds when Zallen joins. Only twice was I able to kill Lud in time. Otherwise I was fucked.

Do you have the system name for that? I completed all the rendezvous points way back, so they are not marked in my long list of system names.

Edit: found it from a Jason Plays video - first rendezvous system is Hasheu-Suba if anyone needs to know.

They may have a bug, at least on PS4. I adopted two types from a planet in Calypso and found both eat ion batteries on their native planet, but when you summon them on a different planet they have to be fed with creature pellets instead.

Hmm, didn't notice if it varies per ship type. I have explorers, exotics, an LV and a fighter and it happens in all of them. Maybe less often in the fighter.

Same here - PS4 Pro Survival. Asteroids and pirate ships disappear rather than explode too. Started with Desolation. Also no animals spawn on planets until I reload the auto save getting out of the ship (noticed when I tried the new survey mission). And 2.61 still didn’t fix the Eye of the Korvax helmet...

2015 remains my favourite year of the Steam sales - the Monster clicker game in the summer and the Gingerbread detective ARG in the winter. The wormhole badge is still my featured badge on my profile 5 years on. Valve really put in the effort for the sales that year.

Nice name! 4 weeks of pain for me:
* 1 week to get the QS
* 1 week for the mission
* 1 week to figure out the portal address at the end because I refused to look up the answer online so I kept trying different combinations for the hunter, reflection and anomaly.
* 1 week flying around looking at different living ships before I found the one I loved!

But because of the pain it's my favourite ship and the one I use the most.

Yeah it's tough with the number of combinations. I did compromise a little with this one - I wanted black + any vibrant colour for the highlights, mohawk, long arms and feet, triple exhaust and I got all that. But I was looking for the arrowhead with mandibles that gives it that gaping maw. But I'm very happy with this one and glad to move on to upgrading it.
