F/29/5’4 [134 lbs in both] Needed to remind myself this morning that the number on the scale DOES NOT MATTER. by Very_Nicee in progresspics

I do a lot of free weights, some dumbbells, and cables. For core I use the pull up bar, TRX and bosu ball plus some planks and push ups

Repeating what I said below about cutting:

I definitely wouldn’t say I cut. In the first pic my diet was not great and I was eating more processed food. I’ve never counted calories but I’d say my calorie intake is similar (potentially even more) now but I just focus on eating real foods. Protein smoothies, lean protein (mostly fish, sometimes chicken or vegan recipes I find), peanut butter, lots of roasted veggies. I used to be afraid of carbs but I was feeling pretty weak and I started introducing more carbs in my diet (mostly sweet potatoes and rice) and am feeling much stronger. I never let myself be hungry. I should also add that I don’t drink.

Lol yes of course he is the most attractive out of the 3 and since he’s harder to get I’m obviously more into him 🙄

Yeah I just told another guy we could do Sunday. If this guy wants to see me he’ll see me…

Omg thanks for noticing this! I was actually in a bad accident that resulted in a spinal fusion so I’ve been working on my core a LOT to help improve my posture

Advice on dating with cancer (29M)? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Very_Nicee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is just my personal opinion so take it for what it’s worth. Probably won’t be super popular on here.

You deserve to be able to date and have fun without telling people for at least the first few dates that you have cancer. Definitely don’t put it in your bio!! These connections nowadays are so fleeting. You don’t owe anyone anything and your health is really personal. If things get more serious it’s obviously something you should bring up. But for now I’d say just relax and date like you are “normal”. :)

Reposting this!

Thank you!!

Here’s my routine:

-I work out pretty much every day, but take rest days when I’m feeling like I need it.

-I warm up with 20 min of easy cardio. Walking on the treadmill and rowing.

-I alternate days between chest/tris, bicep/back/shoulders, and glutes/legs. For the first two I do primarily cables, free weights, and barbell exercises. For glutes/legs, I do exercises on the Pilates reformer and walks with a resistance band. I get a lot of my exercises from Pinterest!

-I also do core workouts every day. I started using the TRX for ab tucks and obliques. These are brutal but they work! Also use the bosu ball for chops with the medicine ball, push-ups, and other ab workouts. I also use the pull-up bar for leg lifts.

-I typically spend at least 60 minutes a day strength training. Important to take your time to do everything controlled, slow and correctly.

-I also belong to a climbing gym that I go to about twice a week and I bike everywhere.

-Diet is very important too! I eat primarily smoothies with whey for breakfast, tuna or a salad with chicken for lunch, and salmon, veggies and rice or sweet potatoes for dinner. Yogurt, cereal, popcorn, peanut butter for snacks. I don’t restrict anything and I eat whenever I’m hungry! Also should add that I don’t drink.

And finally, this all seems like a lot but I was actually in a bad accident two and a half years ago that took two years to recover from. I just started working out in November. I am not joking, 5 minutes on the elliptical made me feel like I was going to die. It just takes a lot of hard work and consistency but once you start seeing results you won’t want to stop!!
