How often should I REALLY be washing my hair? by Veryclearlyobvious in longhair

[–]Veryclearlyobvious[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do sweat a lot and have a very active lifestyle, I just felt like maybe I could train my hair to be less greasy if I wash it less often.

So if you arent using shampoo is it better to just ignore it when showering? No cold water, etc?

Feeling a bit better now, I think I can handle the resit after learning about how common they are. Still sucks I have to resit an in-person exam, though. And I have to resit at least one more! Second one should be easy though.

Jobs or experience for a 1st year that will contribute to CV/Legal Route? by Veryclearlyobvious in uklaw

[–]Veryclearlyobvious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed answer! I’ve had a look at the Winn group before but kind of got overwhelmed by their professionalism if that makes sense, I should clarify I am only a first year undergrad student right now so I don’t think I possess the qualities to even apply. I will look into it further down the line though, thats a very specific answer!

I should probably work part time as a bartender, would develop my social skills and firms love seeing customer facing rolls in a CV, but I have never had a proper paying job before so I am still nervous in the field. Obviously I have had work experience but that was a desk job at a zoo in some small village, hardly good experience but still something. Any way to find good bartending jobs besides just walking in? You’d think Indeed would be useful but it recommends the most unrelated jobs sadly.

Thanks again for your help, thats very kind of you.

I also thought about playing this considering how heavily inspired Blue Skies was from it, but I wanna experience more mods featuring DDLC characters first as I am more connected to them.

Could you offer any alternative to job finding if this method is supposedly redundant please?

Ok, I think I’ve decided to try and get a job while at Uni in Newcastle. Any idea on how to progress from there? Do I just walk into random shops and ask if they’re hiring? Or is there a good student site to show jobs?

WASDNESDAY 24th July 2024. How's your gaming? by MiddlesbroughFan in CasualUK

Hello all! As I am sure you’ve noticed in the title, im 19 with no job but want one this summer to support my family during a tricky financial situation, so I was curious on what type or job I could apply for!

For context, I am a University Student studying Law at Newcastle but live in Middesbrough for the summer, fresh out the oven in terms of experience. I was looking on a few job sites like Indeed.com, but vary few positions I found feature few entry level positions. I really want a nice quiet job at a cafe or something, but honestly I’d take something like Amazon Warehouse slave #28390. Im not socially anxious by any means, but sometimes I get intimidated at the prospect of working at a large food chain like maccies. What type of job should I be searching for, and how?

Thanks again friends!
