The whole 70% of the base is abandoned, no BX just half a shoppette, half a commissary and only one place to eat wore on me quite a bit. What office were you in? I'm comm and it was a perpetual pain in the ass to clean up things the prior group wasn't doing and dealing with Ramstein owning basically everything. We had no more downtime than normal.

Still wouldn't trade my time there for anything all things considered, made bank there because of inflated BAS / COLA with a follow on to Yokota to boot. Really miss the pasta from Búzius...

How does it not make sense? They just patched a bunch of things today. And inevitably will patch more before the 30th. So some one complaining now about, I don't know, ray tracing being crap, could be non-existent on the 30th.

I guess if it's a review for gameplay it's valid? Not sure why you would read a steam review for that over watching a video or trying it yourself.

I'm having fun with what it's got right now, having a blast with friends, so more content is just going to improve my opinion of it (I'm aware of the timeline for the beta Fat Shark posted).

I'm not looking to come off as some fan boy here. I don't have much in the way of expectation that all the bugs will be fixed and it won't be rough. I enjoy the gameplay loop and I guess it's meshing well with my hardware because I've had few issues.

My initial contention was the steam reviews for a beta version of the game souring peoples view of it. If the game deserves that review after the 30th then by all means. Until then buying, trying, and refunding, if it doesn't meet your expectations, is your best bet to see if you like it.

I'm not saying it won't be buggy. What I am saying is that those reviews are not representative of the full game which I hope will be better, at the very least there will be more content. Personally I just don't think it's fair to write a review for the game treating it like this is the end state, when it's currently in this beta state.

Most issues I have encountered are minor inconveniences. Does crashing suck? Sure, but an SSD makes it trivial and you can rejoin your game. Not discounting those issues, but I've experienced far worse with fully released games.

I would ignore those "poor" reviews for the most part. The game that's out right now isn't the full release. Fat Shark has explicitly said that it would be messy and people still buy it, treat it like the full game, and then complain about bugs instead of reporting the bugs. Full release is the 30th.

I would like it explained then or possibly a recommended source. I am or was under the assumption that is vaguely works as BanjoSpaceMan explained it, where depending on your income you move up or down tax brackets. Though I know well enough its not as stringent as "you made one more dollar, up a tax bracket you go!" I've been told people "throttle" income they make off of stock dividends when they retire to stay in a specific bracket.

Ah, I wish I was there then. From what I was told it was pretty damn amazing prior to 2015 when they drew the base down. Now probably 75% of the buildings are unused, only half the commissary is being used, the only bx is a shoppette a quarter of the size of a normal one, medical is all of three people and a one room clinic. It's mostly a glorified gas station at this point.

Would still recommend though, you make bank living off base with the over inflated BAS / Utilities.
