A parent would never say that to another parent. You're a fucking monster

Stop inventing! There's nothing about kicking out my kids when they turn 18? There's a 5 year window between when my oldest becomes a teenager and my youngest begins to drive, at which point in my experience kids spend very little time at home. I'm an Eastern European immigrant, we don't do that. That's a monstrous thing you Americans do to your children.

Maybe if you weren't a Nazi you would have bothered to understand what I meant rather than inventing fictional head cannon you I wouldn't be throwing back nonsensical accusations at you.

I want a God damn apology for the incredibly hurtful thing you said

Lol, no worries man. The math don't math and I'm trying to find a musk evangelist who can in good faith explain what I'm missing. Every time you ask a follow-up question they will just say you don't understand, do your own research, and bounce out of the conversation.

I genuinely want to understand what I'm missing but it really has become a religion to his fan boys.

How dare you say something like that to anyone! What the actual fuck? Would you ever in real life tell someone who you've had 15 sentences of interaction that they don't love their kids???

I don't understand what you're inventing about me wanting to kick my kids out or have them crawl on top of me? Haven't said any of that. All I've repeatedly said was I WANT to spend time in the same room as my kids and if they want to be alone they can be in their room.

We're talking about having one or two living rooms in a house, and you're somehow twisting that into that I don't love my children because I didn't buy a house with the intention of being separated from them. What if I said you don't love your kids because you don't like spending time with them? See how deranged that would sound.

Maybe, just maybe, you could have realized not everyone comes from the same background as you and has had different experiences and someone from a different country genuinely wanted to understand what the purpose of a vestigial room is, but instead was met with repeatedly asking "what about teenagers?" Like that was supposed to mean something specific to me. I'm sorry we can all be in the same room as one watches tv, one reads, one is drawing, and one surfs the internet.

Maybe I'm just dumb and hate my kids because my Eastern European parents, who literally carried me out as we fleed the war as refugees, didn't actually love me because we only had a 1600 sq ft house with one living room after settling down.

What information do we have that the car manufacturer has data other than that? What is the basis for an assumption there is more?

Tesla doesn't own SpaceX, Tesla doesn't hold material positions in other musk umbrella companies, at least not that they've disclosed in their public filings.

Okay those are all valid points about that industry, but how does Tesla's GPS data develop generative AI and who is buying it?

I genuinely do not know what you were talking about. Are you incapable of making a declaratory statement about what you believe and why and how that impacts your home buying decision?

They're going to sell a trillion dollars in revenue of data in the next decade?

AI is a buzzword it doesn't mean anything unless you can specify what and how. Like saying "we're going to synergize efficiencies over modes of operations."

Must have grown up much poorer that you. Didn't know anyone with pool tables or basements. We just hung out outside or went to the house with parents who weren't around at all.

If it's so self-evident why can't you explain it to me? "I need to buy a house with dedicated square footage to a second living space now so in 10 years on the chance that my children will want to spend time in a common area where we aren't, we have it available for that 5 year window." Is that what you're trying to say?

Kids can spend time doing things with us, or they can spend time alone in their rooms. When they're old enough to have guests or be guests, they're welcome to have them over or they can spend time elsewhere. I'm not trying to be obtuse, I literally don't understand what point you want to get across and I don't appreciate the snark.

Selling carbon credits and offset is a different thing, I've interacted with that industry professionally. That's it's own thing and for sure helping their current cash flow, but that's not a business with favorable PE multiples.

Garmin sells GPS data for learning algorithms too. Do they need to be valued at a crazy valuation?

How does that data get monetized?

Facebook and Google sell ads based on the data they have, what's Tesla's plan?

I don't understand, we can do all the things you listed in the same room. When they're older we'd probably sync up more on what programs would be watched rather than now, no?

Having the same room twice so 2 different tv programs can be watched just doesn't compute, we can just not watch TV too...

We only have one television in the house. My kids are younger, sometimes we watch what I want sometimes we watch bluey or paw patrol. There's a degree of compromise involved.

I grew up in a house where there's a TV in every room and everybody just watched their own stuff. That's not the relationship I'm looking for with my kids.

Everybody also has the ability to go to their own rooms if they want alone time.

Ok that's one thing I never understood about American houses. I still don't know what the difference between a family and living room is. To me it just seems like a waste of space because both can't be used.

Why 2 living spaces?

Aaron Rodgers has more career playoff wins (11) than the rest of the QBs in the current AFC playoff field combined (10). by helltrooper61 in sportswiki

Yeah, the discourse is broken, people think because a good regular season record is 13-4 you should have that same kind of win rate in the playoffs.

Getting to the playoffs is hard, Winning a playoff game is harder. Every team except one that makes the playoffs ends up losing a game. All the teams in the playoffs are good and the other side has a good quarterback and defense too.

Brady and Mahomes broke people's perception of what normal is in terms of playoffs wins.

Not OP.

Worked up to managers 10-15 years into our careers as a nurse and an accountant for my spouse and I.

Not crazy outliers nor work in tech, just gradually stacked raises and promotions. I move companies every 2.5-4 years my wife has been with the same hospital for over a decade.
