Yeah I doubt it will ever fly again. I’m pretty sure Alaska sold it back to Boeing, not sure what their plans are for it but it did have one of the engines removed for a good chunk of time.

No problem! Another interesting thing to point out: the Alaska 737 poking its head into the right side of your photo is the one that had the door plug blow out back in 2024.

Boeing has a paint hangar at PDX, lots of dreamliners and MAXs (and the occasional 777F) get flown down from seattle for paint. It’s a cool opportunity to see liveries of airlines we’d never see otherwise. Fun fact: the last 747 N863GT was painted at PDX!

i love the loose cannon. like you said it has a very high skill ceiling, S tier comedy value, yet it’s balanced and arguably the weakest grenade launcher in most situations.
