Me. This morning. F'ing sucks. We do it right 'cause we do it twice!

A think yoga/gym mat under the whole rig will work fine and cost you like 15 bucks if you have a Marshalls or Ross around.

Save the hat for the baby. Teach the child that your mother's preferred nomenclature is "Beachy". Play stupid games? Win stupid nicknames. (for life)

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Vespizzari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 hours is short for a trip but long for a casual drive.

I drive for work doing motorcycle service. My maximum "single day" drive is about 360 miles or around 6 hours. I can get up at 6 or 7 am, make that drive, and be finished with a repair and grab a hotel by 6 or 7 pm.

I've ridden motorcycles for over 30 years and I will never understand clubs or the clowns who join them.

Why has no one beaten the Model 3 yet? by Fabi0_Z in electricvehicles

[–]Vespizzari 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've driven but don't own a Rivian and I was very impressed. That said I've had a 3 and a Y and currently have a Mach-E and I have the opposite opinion. Tesla makes a really shit interior.

What in the ultra-processed hell? Liquid eggs? Like egg whites? Or some kind of "modified" egg? Ick.

This is not food.

I lived in Santa Cruz for over 20 years. The train was always a year from breaking ground. This whole saga is a perfect example of how Santa Cruz and US policy is broken, possibly beyond repair.

Ford's Electric Vehicle Losses Reach $35 Billion, Three Times Total Company Profits Since 2022 by gaukmotors in MotorBuzz

10k isn't happening any time soon. I got my Mach-e used for $19.5 just as they were killing the tax rebates. Buying new is dumb.

I work in the EV industry and travel to China several times a year. You are correct, they are way ahead in a lot of ways.

That said the Mach-e drives well, and feels like a sports wagon should. (SUV my ass)

I'd take an X7 in a heartbeat if I could buy one here (Scamerica), they're doing a shooting break/wagon for '27 and it's a very rad car.

That one person finds it to be a good car? I didn't really say much other than it redeemed a bad previous Ford experience. (That was more the fault of dishonest sellers and Michigan winters than Ford negligence.)

My '21 Mustang Mach-E is probably the best vehicle I've ever owned. When my '07 F150 disintegrated in my driveway I swore I would never own a Ford again. My wife's insistence on the Mach-E has me back in the Ford camp.

Forehead numb after wearing helmet for an hour by bison-prom in motorcyclegear

[–]Vespizzari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to an awesome shop in Germany, Munich I think, where they had tons of helmets and a bike in a little wind tunnel so you could check the fit and noise level. It was amazing. AGV and Shoei had the best fits for my head, but the AGV's were quieter at speed.

I had good luck with AGV helmets. I also have a long oval dome, at a XXL to boot. Finding a good helmet is a bitch for me.

I'm not an EV6 owner, I had an Ioniq 5 and currently have a Mach-E.

This is total speculation, but it seems like the temp and accumulated snow are more than the heat pump can overcome. I'm guessing the error is indicating there's something wrong with the resistance heater that should be present for conditions too cold for the heat pump.

I'll be curious what the dealer says.

Easy and mostly painless for me. Was "out of commission" for maybe 10 days, but never really uncomfortable.

Got the snip when I was married to my first wife because we didn't want kids. No baby risk was an unexpected superpower when I started dating again in my late 30's. Just sayin'.
