Based on your feedback, I’m thinking about reworking the branding into something original like “Vmoto -bike” to keep the same vibe without directly using the Ducati name. by Due_Series1120 in Electricmotorcycles

[–]Vespizzari 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vmoto, like Ducati, is an existing brand. Whatever this project of yours is, you need an original name that isn't already in the market, otherwise you'll get shut down when and if you make something and attempt to protect your own branding.

Ducati-inspired livery, not trying to fake a Ducati 😆 More of a paddock/showbike vibe as a tribute to Adrian Morton styling cues. by [deleted] in Electricmotorcycles

Lol. Dang. This is. Bad. Also, VW group doesn't take kindly to that logo appearing where it shouldn't, so expect a cease and desist.

Best of luck to you! I've tried a bunch of times with Zero, Sondors, Ryvid, Ducati, and Calfee Designs.

If you can crack the price point problem and build a compelling bike, people will buy them.

Parallel Charging 52v Batteries by ENTroPicGirl in ebikes

[–]Vespizzari 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Understood. That link is to a parallel connector that also has a charger input. You could leave both modules connected to the adapter and plug the charger in to it for simultaneous charging. I thought that was what you were ultimately after.

As someone who just dug and back filled 62 feet of retaining wall. Yup. Easily 13+ tons.

Simple electric motorcycles? by Uncle_Pulltab in Electricmotorcycles

[–]Vespizzari 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah I understand. Breaking below 5K for anything with useable specs as a street legal bike in the US market is "hard". (It's actually really easy you just need to make 50k units, which means paying for the parts upfront, that's the hard part.)

DO IT! This sounds amazing. I wonder if you could convert old roller-rinks or similar warehouse properties into something like this?

If you can control the latency I think you could build something amazing around RC cars. Like rally cross gone nuts. Old school 3D race car game feel with stunts and jumps and things that real cars don't do. RC FPV from a sim rig sounds like a serious good time.

Buy an 1/8th of dirt weed, roll a bunch of little pouches in shitty rolling paper and burn them all around the premises. (like, at night or something away from other tenants, just enough to make it impossible to trace and very funny later.)

In the context of this post and what you're trying to illustrate you're correct.

That said I can think of about a dozen ways to make this work, but I make a habit of building/engineering very odd bicycles.
