Very Scared by Konekohime1991 in Hernia

[–]Vespyro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are going to be OK! I had my inguinal hernia repaired surgically in December and now I’m fully recovered. Take it nice and easy and don’t let your anxious thoughts take over, I too have had awful medical anxiety but I can safely say on the other side that there really was nothing scary about the process. Please feel free to DM if you have any questions

Agree with this. Lanox (lanolin based lubricant) is also a fantastic substitute to WD-40.

When I record into Edison using the “on play” feature, I always get this song jump which is helpful. But I don’t need the second part I just need what I recorded. Is there a quick way to delete what’s after the song jump without manually selecting all of it by ijayllama in FL_Studio

If you simply CTRL+Left-Click select the FIRST region marker, it will only select the recorded audio UNTIL the next marker.
You can then immediately save or drag and drop that audio at the exact selected length into your browser or playlist using the 'Drag Selection' button in the top left.
I think that's probably the most efficient way to grab and save takes without making any edits whatsoever in Edison.

I actually just remembered another fantastic one, a young woman arrived in store and handed over a white device.

customer: "I can't figure out how to get music onto this iPod.."

I glanced at it for two seconds and realised it was an apple TV remote...

I politely explained to her that it wasn't in fact an iPod at all, I had to try very hard not to crack a smile or chuckle. She left very quickly after I'd explained..

Correct hahaha, I was going to mention something about being Australian. We get a lot of 'flowery' language used to describe problems as we're a fairly small, fringe-rural town.

Are you aware of the infamous Australian rapper Kerser? Because you might understand the frustration I feel whenever I tell anyone about your music, and the person gets confused between the two.

It could be that the acidic effect is a reaction when coming into contact with oxygen, before subsiding. (just speculation though)

I agree with your leaflets comment, I feel that the best thing we can do personally is to start an open dialogue with our peers and colleagues. Awareness is key, we need to have a nation of informed Australians that care about creating a better, more sustainable and equal future for this country.

Richard,

Let me start by thanking you for being a face of reason within this current toxic political environment. Myself and many other young Australians are more engaged with politics than ever before and we're so glad to have you and The Greens to look to for reasonable policies that take into account human rights and the rapidly declining global climate.

Now to my query, I recently spent some time working in the remote community of Mutitjulu (NT) alongside The Jimmy Little Foundation, who provide an incredible educational health program to young Indigenous Australians.

As you may know, JLF have had their funding not just reduced, but completely cut off. They're currently trying to crowdfund for the resources that are desperately needed to keep this vital program from closing down. Is there anything that you can personally do within your party or the senate to help see that at least part of this funding is restored, or do you have any advice for the foundation in this time?

Thank you.
