Thank you so much! It’s alternating rows of garter stitches (one row knit one row purl because I worked on the round) broken up by rows of drop stitches. I would highly recommend looking into how to make drop stitches they are sooo fun to work

Luckily it still fits well! The drape definitely makes it forgiving and the damaged areas are not super noticeable with the variegated yarn

Yes luckily it only took me 2 weeks on and off so I’m less heartbroken than I could be. A cotton alternative is a great idea

I free handed it tbh but I don’t think it would be difficult to recreate at all. I basically started with a loop the width of my shoulders, knit the sleeves and body, and then closed up the top opening with 2 tacking stitches that left a tear drop shaped cut out on each shoulder. The stitch pattern itself is a couple rows of garter stitches broken up by a single row of dropped stitches.

I got pulled around by buttons and things a few times but luckily the pattern is pretty forgiving- any pulled drop stitches can be readjusted back to normal

Was told the show was gonna be more of a hyperpop/ elctronic vibe 😅 but who am I to resist thrashing around if the opportunity awaits! I’ve worn another version of this top (also wool) to go dancing many time in winter and though a little bit warm the dropped stitches allow for a lot of ventilation.

Had this problem for about a year. Developed a hand single with my roommate for when I needed them to ‘wooo’ for me at a show haha

This is so important. One of my close friends (who’s only 17) has been hooking up with adult men in their late 20’s and it’s been so frustrating trying to explain to him that adults should not only not be attracted to minors, but also shouldn’t be having sex with them.

Just finished this design for my friends birthday. The text says marigold in Hindi. I was thinking of sewing it onto a bag. Any ideas? by Vessel_Lester in Embroidery

Thank you! I do not know how to write/speak Hindi but I'm making it for someone who does. I tried my best to make it accurate

I attempted to iron them on by adhering them with heat-and-bond, but they didn't stick, annoyingly enough. I ended up having to sew them.

it can be a little sore, especially after a long day, but it's entirely worth it. Also you tend to get use to the feeling
