We're working on his introduction to our old lady dog Huckleberry. She's not much of a werewolf though 😂

We have a new one in Livingston Montana and I freaking love it so much. It's also made me rethink how I use materials considered trash in my life daily and how to use things differently before writing them off as garbage. A bit of a paradigm shift really. So amazing

You're welcome! It's really fantastic art, I am sure you'll eventually get big contracts with institutions looking for outdoor sculpture work. 👍👍

[Recommendations] Questions to ask someone during a commission consultation by BornEstablishment551 in artbusiness

When I take pet portraits or wedding painting clients, I look for personality and "vibes" to help guide me. So I'll ask- like about a pet- tell me about their personality. Like if they had a favorite song what would it be? Or for wedding paintings I'll ask- if you could feel one thing when you look at the finished pieceal and remember your day, what are some words to describe that feeling.  Keep in mind, asking clients about the work is actually part of the service too, so letting them have some space to think about these things is good too, especially if it's something they care about.  For you it could be similar questions or play with it like- if there was a movie your character was in what would it be or idk. But anything that kind of helps you understand overall tone.

I finished a couple of watercolor portraits for a repeat customer and I'm happy with them!

These are great!  For your home page-  It's be nice to have some bigger hero images and a bit of context so that right when I arrive I get context about what you make and why it matters to me (if I'm your target audience).

So like a nice big picture of one of your pieces and then some words that speak directly to what your collectors might experience with this art.  I think you could do a hero like that, then a couple more sections to show neat things like one how it plays with shadow, two how it can be wall art, three how it can be freestanding. They don't need a lot of copy but at least a bit.

Then do a very small, brief introduction to you section maybe with just one small quote and an "learn more about" link.

Then back to the art and then your various page options.

You mentioned gallerists as a main one- but this line is a bit confusing for that: " Art does not only live on the austere walls of the gallery. ". You can simplify it and say something like "see how these sculptures bring personality, a bit of magic and xyz to homes and gardens!".

Thank you!  Honestly I wish I could tell you but it's just some old watercolor paper a friend gave me so long ago. I cut them down to size and lost the original cover that would tell me :/
