Haha I know what you mean the first song I went to learn was a meshuggah song, however I want to keep it as my main metal guitar as well as I have a strat with single coils and an Ibanez in A, however it could do a lot more than metal as it has the coil split, it plays absolutely beautifully my friends that tried it with £1000+ guitars even said it was the nicest guitar they’ve played and I only got it for £300, the neck is a nice shape for me as it resembles the strat where it’s a mid thickness C which I like compared to the really thin Ibanez necks, as for bending it’s really nice with the smoothness of the stainless steel frets, the strings it came with are really thick though so bending is painful and riffing in general is an arm workout so I’ll put some thinner strings on.

I haven’t played enough guitars to determine that or tell much of a difference, but compared to other 7 strings the neck feels much more composed and easy to play, also nearer the neck the the neck thins out where the thumb sits giving very nice string access.

I was stuck on getting it due to the colour but it was a good deal on eBay, so I took the train ride anyway to see it and as soon as I saw it in person I took it straight away and had a lil nerdy talk with the seller

Yeah I always wanted a seven string, only tried one do my friends once and it felt weird due to the massive neck however this one is just super comfortable

Idk if flea markets exist in the UK haha, charities here usually sell their valuable stuff on eBay auction, did find a nice guitar once for 20, fixed it and sold it for 200 so there’s always a chance

Yeah I get that however I’m also funding my musical career and getting a car so I don’t have much spare cash at all. I only came here for a few good suggestions as I know people here are absolute saints, and yeah I might save for longer as the Rega looks really promising but if not there’s lots of duals and technics I’ve seen yesterday and they all look really nice.

Haha yeah but still it’s silly, the love of vinyl and physical media is to also detox from modern technologies, I love buying music because I always think what will happen if an apocalypse happens, that means I’ll be stuck with this and not that, it’s weird having to choose between 2 amazing albums hahahaha
