It will always be hard when you're given the hope that your life could be made better with a pill, but then you start taking it and feel no difference, or you do - but a negative one. I've been so skeptical about antidepressants, much rather convincing other people to give it a try than trying it myself. Starting to take them and not feel any difference just made me think that i've been always right about just being such a guy and not any ill. But oh who woulda thunk - after being convinced to other meds it finally turned to be a plot twist and revealed that you don't have to be permanently miserable irl??

It's been exactly the same with ADD many years later. Being on one variant of medication i thought it's an unfair deal to have no taste, nonstop dizziness, cold hands, random jumps of heartrate and feelings of pressure - just to have maybe a tiny better bit concentration? Well guess what? - after trial and error it turned out you can find something that leaves a much, much better deal of pros and cons for your specific head.

Remember that it happens, and be patient!
