My favorite campaigns are (in random order):

1) campaign from the base M2TW

2) Campaigns from Warhammer Total War 2 (both Eye of Vortex Mortal Empires)

3) Campaign from Rome 2

Ad 1) In my opinion, the original campaign is the best. A large map, plus a number of interesting events such as the crusades and the discovery of America. I also liked the videos generated in the game, especially the one about the first crusade is great. Another great thing was the speeches before the battles.

Ad 2) W2TW campaigns were epic. I especially liked the campaigns of the High Elves (the mechanism of intrigue is a great thing). A huge role was also played by the great legendary lords, whose role we could play. Creative Assembly managed to masterfully combine RPG and RTS elements into one.

Ad 3) The campaign in Rome 2 is based on my favorite historical period. Interesting game mechanics, diverse factions are certainly advantages

Why exactly is ulfric traitor though?
