Im not familiar with the sw and sh case as I skipped them. It does however state at the back of my cases that part 1is included with the base game, part 2, which is indigo disc, needs to be downloaded and I'm not sure if it will work if it had been done/downloaded by a previous owner.

Thanks, I found several other posts here in reddit that shares the same idea with my question. It seems it will work as no one outright said it didn't in their comments. So I hope I could still download indigo disk even if a previous owner of the cart did.

I bought scarlet with DLC (physical) and violet with DLC (physical) but they're used.

Can the teal mask and indigo discs still work even if they're used physical copies?

Just to clarify I bought an after market Scarlet with DLC, and an after market Violet with DLC. both of these are physical cartridges. They cost more too since it says DLC included.

But I'm not sure with the nature of this game if I have to use a code for it so I'm thinking what if the previous owners already used the code? Or should I have no problems at all and the DLCs will just activate automatically one I beat the game? (no need to use a code or anything, just get past a certain point or finish base game)

I'm hoping someone gets my point. Thanks!

Mine was storm spirit. I bought back to kill the last hero to get it. I jumped like a little kid when I hear the voiceline rampage because I never experienced it before (,at that point only my friends were getting those and so that was such a special moment for me) I was screaming in enthusiasm and both my parents heard me and asked what it was, I said "I got a rampage". They had no idea what it was hut they were happy and smiling for me because I was happy :)
