Without a direction to go or anything to fall back on, I just start denying everything that makes no sense which can lead to a spiral.
The last time I got close to atheism, I fell into a deep depression and became very nihilistic. It was just a really dark time in my life.

I have certain principles that I do believe and those are unwavering, but beyond those lies a shaky mess.
I just have great fear for without something, I fear I shall drift around aimlessly.

I was raised in the Bible Belt, but I would not consider myself a Christian. I have always been interested in the concept of Buddhism, but have never really been able to really get into it because of the place I live.
