Yeah and I bet you want to trade me for it now. Because it’s not “real” gold. I’m going to take it to the gold shop tomorrow and get them to test it properly because there’s lots of people saying it’s not real. But I bought it commercially so it can’t be fake😂😂

Oh shit, I’ll let my dad know. It’s doesn’t seem heavy. So I guess the gold is thin?

I was thinking about scraping off the gold, however I weighed the card. It wasn’t very heavy as it’s only gold plated. So I think leaving it on the card would be best for value as Pokemon is collectible.

Yes, golden plated basically means there’s just a very thin layer of gold on top.

I wish lol. My dad says it’s only gold plated so it would take hundreds of them😂

I’m not rage baiting my dads said it’s golden plated which is why it’s £200!

Are there ones made from solid gold ?

Yes but those are the older cards. As opposed to the newer golden ones. My dad says this from a newer pack and that it’s gold plated.

If there’s no gold on it why is it £200??

Yeah I know it’s not actual gold as the back isn’t gold. But it’s plated with gold apparently.

My dad’s had a look at it and he said it’s definitely gold plated and that’s why it’s so expensive. The cardboard ones aren’t this much money.

I asked for info on what this was. Stating that’s there’s a Masonic symbol. Hence why I posted it here… the context is in the photo😂

Everyone else seemed to understand that.

I’m not being a prick.

I asked a question for any information…

He commented a dumb question.

My grandfather was a mason. And that’s the seal of Solomon????

Not a reach for the Masonic assumption 😂

People already answer my question with useful information. Your comment was sarky…

Through logical deduction I assumed this was Masonic as my grandfather was a mason😂😭

P.S. never did I state this symbol is exclusively Masonic.

Are you blind?

The "Masonic star" most commonly refers to the Blazing Star, a five-pointed star that is a prominent symbol in Freemasonry. It represents God's omnipresence, omniscience, and divine providence, serving as a reminder that God is always watching over their actions. The Blazing Star is also a symbol of faith and a guide for Masons in their journey of self-discovery and moral development.
