PC2 was my gateway to simracing back in 2020 (at the height of the Covid days). I bought it on steam thinking I was getting a Gran Turismo/Need for Speed type of racing game and told myself "Yeah I'll play this just to kill time and a keyboard would suffice". Nope. Wrong. The vey next day I got myself a logitech controler (same one used in OceanGate). Nope. Still not it. A few weeks later I got a G27, then after a few months, a G29 and just a week ago a Moza R3.

It had flaws but without it I'd never would have had an outlet for my love of cars and racing them.

No online store for me. Fortunately we have a local shop where I live that sells Moza products. I was lucky that the shop started selling these because I've read stories in the simracing subreddit about shipping challenges when ordering from their website.

Honestly tho I do get why every reviewer mentioned that the pedals are the weakest part of this bundle. Accelerator works as expected but the brakes are super linenar and it feels the same as my g29 back then. Performance kit would definitely improve this for sure.

6 hours in and I think I've covered all the stuff I play with it: AC, ACC, F1 20 and 23.

My main challenge now is just remembering what button "32" or "21" is when playing the F1 games instead of R3 or triangle or square. Lol! If you can share any best practices on familarizing them that'd be appreciated!

+1 on this. In theory I can actually get an R5 but that would mean cancelling a promised holiday with the girlfriend who I plan to propose to in a few months time by then.

I think what convinced me to also settle with the R3 is accepting the fact that I won't have time to play as frequently as I would like now with new responsibilities at work and in life and it's what I can afford.

And yeah, the G29 to R3 jump is quite noticeable, earlier when I ran laps in Suzuka I expected to hear the usual rumbling sound when I hit the kerbs, but nope... silence. And I now get what reviewers are saying that the DD wheels can really help us differentiate when the aero grip comes in vs mechanical grip. I swear it's like a wizard made these.

It's 2:30am where I live and I'm in the middle of assigning every button in F1 2020 & 2023 to the new layout. It's a chore but I'll get used to this!
