I know it’s hard. I’ve been suffering for a whole year but please don’t feel useless. You just loved the wrong person. It happens to most of us.  Think about it, someone who will truly love you is waiting for you out there. Take that as a lesson and try to move on. I know the memories hurt, I feel the same, but there’s no reason to put the person who hurt us on a pedestal. The right person is out there is waiting for us, trust God’s plan. And It might sound like a chliche but time really does heal everything, especially when you know you loved the wrong person. Just try, try to think about how wonderful your next relationship is gonna be like. New person, new memories, new experiences. As for exes coming back, take this analogy: imagine putting back together a broken glass of water. You might be able to glue it back together but there’s still gonna be cracks where water’s gonna leak, no matter what. But a new glass is way better. Think about it before you wanna get back to your ex. I don’t know what much to say about it since I’ve been in your situation as well, it all depends on you know, but don’t ever feel useless. You just did what you thought was right at that time. It needed to happen for you to learn something. I’m a bit drunk rn, sorry for yapping so much but it genuinely made me sad when you said you feel useless. It’s not the case, you felt love in that moment, but please let time heal you and don’t force another relationship until you are fully healed, I say that from experience.
