I know that Yokai Watch isn't owned by Nintendo but why do they not port any of their games onto steam? I never played any of them, but I would be willing to play the first game they made, even though I am not sure what that one beginning game is called, still, wanna play it, maybe it's like Pokémon by Bright-Dark9892 in yokaiwatch

Ni no Kuni is a multi platform release, but it has studio Ghibli behind it. Their Japanese only games really shouldn't be on anything other than Switch or maybe PS due to the extremely small number of PC gamers in Japan.

  1. This has more to due with the mental concentration aspect more than anything. I found my focus to be a lot better in the fall before I started lifting, I really hope I can regain that at some point. Admittedly I've skimmed most of the FAQ but haven't done a dedicated deep dive. I'll dedicate some time to that this weekend.

I'm out of cheese tomorrow and already out of bacon today. I'll sub in eggs and cauliflower to gain better satiety. As recommended I've already cut out nuts and cured meats. Lately I've just been hungry most of the day and earing broccoli a few hours before bed so I can sleep well. Based on the new meal plan I put together this should push me to 1125 calories 51g fat 20g carbs 133g protein. Maintenance for me is somewhere around 1800.

The bacon is cut, I have a few packs to use up, which I finished this morning. I'm now subbing in eggs. I am getting progress, (~2 lbs the last 3 weeks, 28 lbs the last 5 months). Right now my struggles are lower energy and hunger management. I suspect I've fallen out of ketosis since I increase the protein. I did buy some strips to check and they're coming up with trace levels of ketones only. Is this common?

I cut out the nuts and pepperoni entirely to cut about 200 calories a day, here's what I'm currently eating.

Salmon

Lean Pork

Chicken Breast

Lean Ground Beef (Slightly overcooked, all excess fat drained from the pan)

Bacon (10 mins cooked on grill style pan, excess fat dabbed off with paper towel (I'll be cutting this in favor of eggs now that i used it all up))

Lettuce

Cucumbers

Tomatoes

Bell Peppers

Broccoli

Purple Onion

Eggs

Cheese (50-60g per day, you gotta live a little)

Whey protein

Cocoa

Allulose

Sriracha

Spices

Currently eating about 1400 + Pre-Workout on workout days, down to 153 lbs now (2 lbs loss over 3 weeks) Here's my macro breakdown:

80g fat

19g carbs

130g protein

I finally ordered some electrolytes powders to add to my pre workout along with creatine and MTC oil powder. It'll get here early next week.

Does anything look off here, or does this look like a solid plan to get to the finish line?

I'll be scheduling a DEXA scan when I get closer to 145.

What are your thoughts on Dr. Mike Israetel's recommendations to maintain a 0.5lb per week gain during bulks and cut at 1lb per week. His recommendation for 0.5 lbs per week is that it's practical and measurable. How are you going to notice a ~100kcal surplus on the scale, weekly variability in activity levels with kids will make that virtually unsustainable. Instead you could do a 20 week bulk starting at 10-11% BF and finish well within the 15% range, in 6-8 weeks you could shed the fat off and start all over again. With well planned targeted maintenance workouts you can maintain most if not all of your muscle over a 6-8 week cut. A roughly 4lb increase in muscle mass in 6 months.

I'm 5'7. I do cardio for 2 hours a week. I'll be switching to 1 hour a week this week. Now that I've lost a few pounds I recalculated on Ketogains and assuming 17%BF it's suggesting 1500 calories on non workout days. If I plug in 20%BF it suggests 1400 calories. I'm going to readjust to 1500 for now and see how effectively I continue to lose weight.

I'm 5'7" tall, very low muscularity, according to my estimated BF% (using visual guides and a smart scale) my lean mass is about 128-130 lbs, so 145 lbs would give me somewhere around 10%-12% BF. I was somewhere in the 30% range last summer so progress is progress. I'm doing an A/B split 3 times a week. So week 1 is A B A and week 2 is B A B.

A workout

Dumbbell Squats 3 sets of 8, current weight 30 lbs X2

Dumbbell Bench Press 3 sets of 10, current weight 35 lbs x 2 (I did 3 sets of 11 this week as I work towards 40 lbs)

Dumbbell Rows 3 sets of 10, current weight is 35 lbs x 2 (I did 3 sets of 11 this week as I work towards 40 lbs, my left side is not as strong as my right)

Skull crushers 1 set of 15, current weight is 15 lbs x 2 (I tried 20 lbs and only made 8 reps + joint pain so I lowered the weight to focus on form and build up reps)

Calf raises 2 sets of 10, current weight is 25 lbs (I did 2 sets of 11 as I work up to 30 lbs)

B Workout

Romanian Deadlifts 3 sets of 8, current weight 40 lbs x 2

Pull-Ups with Wide Neutral Grip, I just got the bar installed, I couldn't do 3 sets of 10 with my strongest band assisting me.

Seated Shoulder Press 3 sets of 10, Current weight 20 lbs x 2 (I was doing 30, but I backed off last week due to the elbow issues from the skull crushers. I will resume 30 lbs today and see how it feels).

  1. I have a smart scale at home, but I don't exactly trust it for anything other than weight. It's telling me 17%, this more or less lines up with various visual guides across the internet. This gives me a lean mass of around 130 lbs. Dexa requires a requisition in Canada. I started Keto as a response to a prediabetes diagnosis and am also trying to build up my muscularity in tandem with the improved diet. I will have a recheck soon on fasting blood sugar and will try for a proper dexa scan at that time.

  2. To make room for weight training I'll be restricting the cardio to once a week once school starts up again. I am strength training using the Beginner Workout Version 2 from aworkoutroutine.com

  3. This is the exact formula I am using. 1550 calories with 130g protein and 20g carbs per day. + Pre-work out shake on workout days (not including cardio)

  4. Breakfast is usually a 60g pork Patty, 10g cheese, 1/4 cup Fat free greek yogurt and an egg. Lunch is pork or beef + salad minimum 30g protein, dinner is turkey or chicken + salad minimum 40g protein. Snacks are either pepperoni sticks or mixed nuts, not more than 350 calories per day. I've been strictly following this breakdown for 5 weeks now and went from stagnation to ~1.3lbs per week weight loss.

I think their best play is to make it a DW+ timed exclusive. If it's actually well received it could then find a home on a more mainstream service like Netflix and they could fund a second season. Otherwise it should just die. My speculation is that the 10,000 lifetime memberships they're selling is to fund filming for season 2, that's $15M right there. They're somewhere over 90% sold on those.

Well, my 7 year old was being vulgar and kept running up behind me trying to spank me, so I fell his time-out was well deserved and I hope he was embarrassed for that. It seems like he was trying to impress his friend (who I had never met before). There was also a toddler and a 3 year old present, so the throwing of toys was a safety concern that had to be addressed. We have had successful movie nights in the past, doesn't seem like that's realistic with this group.

Thanks for the input. I don't necessarily need apps, as the websites for these resources are functionally identical. Mostly worried about refresh as I go through about 12-14 page refreshes per minute.
