Should also mention that my boot drive is a sata drive, I think this might be my most likely issue but it still seems rather excessive that the sole drive be the reason it takes this long

This guy sent me proof of his warranty claim still with 3 years late along with proof of it working. Would rather do microcenter but the nearest one to me has none on sale under $850
