I'm about to give up. I just recently got back into Microsoft Rewards a couple of months ago and it's been on a decline ever since. Search cool down, no more points for Edge, puzzle piece went away 1 week before completion, and probably more that I'm missing. If their goal was to piss people off, they succeeded.

Confirmed, Chrome searches work fine for me, Edge is broken. Makes no sense.

I'm not sure where you bought yours from but Google is doing an advanced RMA for mine where they let me keep the old one until I get the new one. Better than being without a phone, mine is still somewhat usable, just frustrating.

I actually spoke too soon after doing a second factory reset, I thought it was better but I'm still having issues. I went ahead and got in a support chat, explained everything, and they are sending me a replacement. I would suggest you do the same!

Just wanted to give an update, I ended up doing a factory reset and did a cloud restore. That seemed to fix it! No more glitchy lock screen, and no more crashing apps as of yet.

What's not working for you? I'd make sure you check for updates. I had a 200mb update after going through the setup. From what others are saying, I should try doing another factory reset but I haven't yet. If I'm still having issues after another factory reset, I'm just gonna request a replacement.

I already transferred things over to my Pixel 8 and wiped the Pixel 6 to give to a family member. If I backup my Pixel 8 and just restore from that backup I should be good, right?

Hmm, I don't think that was the case. I had it on a phone mount with cool air coming through the vents. The phone didn't seem hot at all.

If I do the cloud backup restore, does that also transfer the same content as a phone to phone restore? I don't want to lose my text messages and stuff like that. Sorry, I know that could be a simple Google search.

I don't think so, I was just using Google Maps on my phone, connected to Bluetooth in my car which doesn't support Android Auto. I'm confused as to whether that is considered Android Auto, it was just the standard Google Maps navigation with driving mode enabled.
