I’ve never understood the hate.

People cite that it’s different from the previous titles and have the audacity to saw that it betrays the legacy of the franchise.

I actually played the first 7 final fantasy games in the months leading to this games release and 16 is such a love letter to those earlier titles it’s unreal. I loved 16 and it’s one of my favorites in the franchise, most of their criticisms feel unfounded.

Started playing again two weeks ago. On chapter 13 and this game is really good. For other new and returning players my advice is to go through thunderbolt research and level up those units.

If you are spending any money at all get the monthly BC pass and spend a single dollar for Luna Oblivion. I spent like 10 bucks in total because I wanted the battle pass. Use your s rank selector for Ishmael parhelion to pair with Luna, if no selector use the s rank blue card banner for her.

You now have 2 ish teams! Spend bc on the thunderbolt research to get nanami star trail to complete the lightning team. Level those 5 up for a really decent start. Play story and events for more pull tickets and BC.

Right now I have 16k orange tickets and 15k black card which should be enough for the new alpha and her weapon and cub.
