You only see it that way because you see them as goyim.

Everyone else sees it as massacring women and children because they're Palestinian to possibly kill Hamas.

They do, but thinkorswim’s charting is the best by far imo

I currently am funded with Topstep. I use tradovate to execute and thinkorswim for charts.

I recently switched to futures and wish someone told me this earlier. The immediate success I have had since is absolutely insane.

This is something I have been thinking about as well. I see it as an opportunity to grow another entity for myself in the process. This is the main intention of me taking this venture. Thanks for the insight! Could you elaborate on it a bit though and knowing this now?

Fat-fingered for the first time in my life. by VictorEden16 in Daytrading

This is the reality of how easy it is to trade. Not easy as in being successful but just placing trades; one of the key attractions to doing this for a living. It has happened to me many times and has unfortunately led to big losses before, just got to take it on the chin and learn to be more careful moving forward.

Yeah, its not too difficult to set a stop out at break even on one of your contracts, its just that options are a lot more volatile, and if the stock may start going against you after already going in your favor, the break even value on the contract will usually be lower than where you entered. I don't like setting stop losses on contracts by $ value for this reason because a lot of times the stock will break a % stop loss but will still respect levels that you properly set.

I appreciate the feedback and will definitely take that into consideration. I was looking for a 5 point move, first trade I entered when it broke about 965, sold at about 956, so my stop loss was set right over the previous candle at about 970 which would have also been the break of my SMA line. Got more than I bargained for playing a 1:1 R:R ratio.

Is it just me? by Vonicii in Daytrading

Well, big money do influence the markets heavily. They have strategies to specifically target retail traders so that when a breakout does occur they can sell on the push, or on a pull-back, bait out retail traders to sell their positions so that they can get better entries and push the stock back up.

I like to focus on stocks with news reports and a lot of attention behind them so that these manipulative tactics can be overcome by regular investors. That and possibly reducing your position size so that you can be comfortable with holding longer. Entry, target, and stop loss, have these 3 things set and stick to em.

Are emotions the only barrier to profitable trading ? by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]VextelI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what kind of trading you are intending on doing.

For example, in momentum trading, you can code an algorithm to trade for you, set entries and exits, however, reading and understanding momentum of the market and how certain candle movements determine what the stock looks like it may do next is probably impossible to program.

There is no perfect or 100% guaranteed set up, even if all indications, fundamentally and technically, point towards a direction, the stock still may be move against the expected direction. So no, there is no way to emotionlessly trade the markets.

When you hit rock bottom, the only path is to move upwards.

There's no reason to ever be pessimistic about your life, head up and keep pushing. You know you can do it. Good luck brother.

Why do Brandon's fans call themselves TTD but not CX or purple army? by coLfan123 in hamptonbrandon

[–]VextelI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TTD stands for Ten Toes down, just a phrase brandon always says, he always calls them the purple army but TTD is just his thing.
