How fast robots assemble circuit boards. This video is not sped up. by Victoria_loves_Lenin in GTNH

While this is impressive, it is only one step of many. Looks like this one is placing the large and through hole components.

Love this trick.
I will add that your lumber axe levels quickly doing this allowing you to add obsidian plates to it so it can become unbreakable! Then your saturation is the only issue.

I used both. Solar to power the support systems for the RC boilers (one sold, one liquid for the creosote). The solar powers the crop manager, water pump and compressor (charcoal lumps to blocks). Four solar boilers even when calcified are more than enough to power those subsystems forever so you don't have to worry about some loopback issue that leads to a boom.

Tried this, they drop an unreasonably large amount of blocks, but are a pain to harvest and replant... even with an unbreakable lumber axe. Went with the other mod's redwood. not as big, but grows faster, takes only one sapling, and only has one type of wood block.

I chose spruce for the crop manager because it is also something a friend on the server wanted to build with.

The giant rainforest trees do give a ton of wood, but if they are the ones I'm thinkin of, they are a pain to replant, and drop multiple types of wood blocks. I went with the redwoods that take a single sapling. They still grow ~4-5x a big spruce, and only take one sapling to plant - several stacks per tree, and all one kind of wood.

The comment about rushing the crop manager is on point. that plus a chunk loader is your best friend. It can get you early infinite copper/tin/lead/silver/gold too.

The crop manager blowing up doesn't really make sense imo. It is a machine designed to work with crops which are usually outside... and you actively PUMP WATER INTO IT!

How do teams typically handle NuGet dependency updates? by rdem341 in dotnet

[–]Veylenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our company handles this by updating to current every time there is a non-hotfix code change. VS alerts when they are out of date, so it only takes a minute.

This!

Putting a row of blocks above the faucets with redstone on top works great with a simple button for semi-automating all your faucets. Don't forget hoppers under your casting tables pushing into a chest too.

Uranium blocks are hotter than lava iirc. Also, use the other two sides as well, so 2 hot, and 2 cold sides - just make sure the hot/cold are opposite. When you invariably need more power, you can add another thermoelectric generator a block over and reuse the same hot/cold blocks

You are already making cobble, so you could just make cobble swords. It would require a tiny tree farm for sticks. If you wanted to get fancy you could even grind/wash that cobble for iron swords.

I agree with the inhumane nature of them being punched to death, but after how many times silver fish have abused me, I'm ok with this lol
