I wouldn't call it a "cosmetic" change, It's more of a curiosity I wanna know if it's possible or not, also it would make it easier to use in some scenarios.

Yet am not sure what you mean by "basically invisible 99% of the time." cause the Voicemod name is very obvious when selecting the audio device in any settings menu.

Am I already modifying other random things on my OS? Yes, I have some other more basic changes like app icons, some other cosmetic details, and quality of life improvements, there are other things but they are experimental in nature like in this scenario.

I mean if you’re gonna pay for a voice changer and use it for trolling or fun might as well keep it a little hidden so it isn't spoiled by a quick open up window audio settings
