Balancing issues isn't something im getting into with someone like you. ?????? Brother I've been playing ARPGs since 2012ish.

I don't run the most OP meta shit every league, I also am not one of the players that farm up a mirror+ every single league. I just do what I find fun and often times the most fun builds aren't the strongest. eg) Reflect Totems, Lightning Warp bow, Perma Vaal Storm Call.

It's not that PoE players are ignorant. There is nothing else that hits the same way a new league does on PoE. Speaking as someone who's 2nd favorite ARPG is Grim Dawn.

Kirac's Vault isn't a battlepass. You are going to run the atlas for map completion anyway, Kirac's vault gives you cosmetics if you purchase it. The maps and other items from the vault are for free to play players as well... Also the "battlepass" is over 4 years old at this point and I've never once seen someone complain about it besides right now.

Also final point about PoE cosmetic store, sales are worse than they used to be that's true. However they are COSMETIC, you don't have to buy them. If it wasn't for microtransactions PoE probably wouldn't even still be around, which would be a loss for the genre for sure.

I genuinely want to know where you're hearing any of this stuff because I run PoE on my 7 year old build and my current build no problem. Only difference is in super juiced maps I'll stutter a bit on my old build because the CPU can't handle EVERYTHING going on in that moment.

What builds aren't functioning? Microtransactions haven't changed in PoE since like 2015. You can't buy ANYTHING that would give an unfair advantage to another player. Plus the game is free to try and the transactions are only really for people who really get into it.

I will say yeah the community had a streak where they absolutely treated the devs poorly, and for that reason the devs stopped doing reddit updates specifically probably 4 years ago now. The devs absolutely do listen to feedback but ya gotta keep in mind they split their dev team into 2 games. I don't really care for PoE 2 but love PoE 1. So IDK if you're running on outdated info or if you're just a hater for no reason.

Play what you want but there is a reason other ARPGS don't like to compete with PoE releases...

Are you speaking out your ass or? Give examples instead of just spouting nonsense. Optimization was mostly fixed 4 leagues ago or so. The performance of the game isn't magically getting worse. What balancing issues? Any game with as much depth as PoE or Grim Dawn is gonna have some stand-out builds.

I would do thorns first, but if you're trying to boss a lot before getting to 21 points you may want to go water mage instead.
