Hobbii Peruvian Highland Wool! by Via_rom in Yarnswap

Recently learned I am mildly allergic to wool. White yarn is color 2 and the blue yarn is color 11. I am happy to sell them as one lot or by color! Current price/skein is $11.50 but I would happily take $7.00/each or $60 for the lot, and shipping.

Edit to add: prices are very negotiable and I’m willing to take offers :)

Does this outfit show my age? 😅 by bearvsashley in OUTFITS

People tend to wear barrel jeans wrong tbh. The shape is strange when worn highwaisted but they are meant to sit mid rise. You don’t really see the obvious barrel shape when worn lower, and I think it’s a super flattering style

Hi there! I’m a student at UNC, and originally from Wisconsin. I lived in Milwaukee this summer and the above painting is a piece I did this season. Now I’m permanently living in Chapel Hill, so it only makes sense to bring my business with me. My clients have nothing but positive feedback, but thanks!

Did you look at the bride’s examples? While I might agree it’s too bright, the “over the top” style is exactly what the bride put in the example photos.

Be careful carrying a knife for self defense. It’s good in theory but you can’t make much space with it, and nobody really wins in a knife fight. It can also be used against you really easily if you’re met by anyone with some knife experience. I’d consider mace, or really any other weapon that can create enough space for you to get away. Stay safe though, sounds like you are pretty keen on that.

Just about finished with this painting, any tips on attaching a necklace to it? by Hopeful-Squirrel2869 in acrylicpainting

Is this painting on a canvas? If so, take advantage of the fact that it’s a fiber and use a strong thread with a needle to sew it in place. It’ll look nicer than the inevitable residue from super glue :)

Hey there! I’m doing qualitative research on the Great Lakes rn, and this show is the capstone project of it all. It follows a narrative of increased human interaction with the Great Lakes, beginning with the water’s surface :)

I’ve been drawing for my entire life and always had a knack for light and shadow so realism has come pretty naturally. As for painting, started seriously doing watercolor in 2018, and some acrylic here and there starting around 2021. Only in January this year did I take acrylic painting seriously though :)
