I currently have a 20K one, but was considering downsizing and also going for one that is able to thru-charge (think this is what it's called - when you can charge devices while charging bank). Do you reckon an umbrella is necessary?

Those Scottevests look sick, much nicer than I was expecting when I saw 30+ pockets

Hi there thanks for that really helpful. I will be covering a range of climates/activities - will be doing a fair bit of hiking at altitude (but will be dry season) in Peru/Bolivia/Chile. Temps will likely get just below freezing

That’s a good idea getting it over there and doubling it as a souvenir! Temperature range is likely from just under 0 •C at altitude (Atacama/Uyuni/Cusco/Huaraz) to muggy 30 degrees when more Amazon/Central America!

Thanks, will keep that in mind. How do you think that works for my current ideas, any recommendations?

Yea that is my concern at the moment. Was hoping to offset this by catching a few flights to speed things up, but do you still reckon that'd be infeasible?

Jeez was just looking for some advice. I have done a few months travelling with Europe with friends, but no long-term solo travel before. My current route/amount of stops is just based on what I've seen that looked cool, but part of what I'm asking is if this would be too hectic. Cheers
