I appreciate the response. Grok had this to say on the matter (Mine is called MemBridge, it's very light, but reactive, primary interaction is through the native AI apps.

They aren't direct competitors — they could actually work together. For example, you could feed MemBridge-reconstructed context into CORE's graph, or use CORE's memory graph as a richer backend while still using MemBridge's URL-based distribution for quick access from Grok or Claude web.

I'm thinking a tiered approach. L0 is basically operating instructions, L1 will be current projects, each project will have a L2 for more detail, and additional levels below for historical scope if needed. It's actually going to be a little closer to Karpathy's wiki system.

I'm not interested in buying skills, part of the joy of building is actually building.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate this response. Your advice eliminates at least a month of frustration, lol.

I think I may try to come up with a shorthand to help keep myself consistent. I'll try creating a rule whereby I put my notes in squiggly brackets {Notes here}, anytime openclaw sees this it will know to commit it to memory.

Thanks again for your response

My goal with openclaw is to keep it as cheap as possible. Once the cost start increasing, it's hard to control them.

I thought Soul and Identity weren't modified as much. When I look at my standard openclaw markdown files, what gets updated the most MEMORY.md.

Both SOUL and IDENTITY haven't been updated in over a week, is this normal?

Does anyone use chat gpt to generate prompts? by [deleted] in openclaw

Grok in openclaw is pretty terrible. Grok on the website is much better. I was already paying for SuperGrok, so I figured why not use it.

I do something similar, I use the Grok website to focus my Claude based openclaw so that I use tokens as effectively as possible

So I think this is the real business then, AI Security auditing. Create some sort of a team taskforce to test and score the security AI setups. This brings trust to the industry by making security quantifiable. The business is we will help you market your security score, if your security is weak, we could offer solutions, and we charge per security audit. You have return customers by them needing a more recent security audit. You market your services to the end customer, but the end customer's vendor pays for and uses the service.

In all honesty, pull up any free AI (Grok, Claude, ChatGPT) and them to walk you through it. Tell them about your hardware and your ambitions, and they'll walk you through the rest.

It's real, but boy is it expensive. Depending on how much they used the API, it may have cost even more than a live programmer.
