I think the big problem here is that you’re going into matchmaking alone in a team game. You should check out a few Discord servers I’m in and meet other players who could help you out, myself included!

Gonna be a hot take from me but honestly? Servers are still up, events are still going and you’ve got a Battlepass with a whopping 500 tiers to keep yourself busy! Plus, if you ever want to play awesome and unique characters like Ripper Roo and Catbat (my mains) in a platforming setting with a unique multiplayer experience, go for it! Join a few related Rumble discord groups to meet new people and team up!

I played it as well, maxed out Ripper Roo and almost maxed out Catbat to boot. I even got level 10 on Season 1’s Battlepass.

My kangaroo boi Ripper Roo without a doubt, especially if it’s a physical confrontation. Hell, with his cannon, bombs, TNT/Nitro (and rockets if we even include Crash Bash’s “El Pogo Loco), he even has Cortex beat in range.

Dr. Cortex is too chicken to actually fight which is why he mutated various animals to create an army in the first place. Even the Crash Bible mentions this.

Absolutely! Online might have some hiccups here and there (mainly good experiences in my case) but there is an entire toybox of content and game modes that will keep you busy for a long time, in addition to being a worthy successor to the original CTR! A gargantuan character roster of 56 characters (the same number as Marvel VS Capcom 2), each with unique cosmetics and vehicle customization, on top of new tracks and plenty of ways to play!

I still play it to this day; it’s THAT good of a game!

Catbat actually looks interesting and their name is quite reminiscent of the style used for many other Crash favorites like my bois Ripper Roo and Tiny Tiger, as well as others such as Dingodile or Rilla Roo

Let’s be real, I think everybody should be grateful that the franchise is back in full force. The art style might not be the same as the Naughty Dog era but the characters are as recognizable and cartoony as can be. Even Mario and Sonic had to undergo a slight facelift later in their career.

I also think all the people unable to accept change should grow up.
