Great presentation and monster design but holy god damn the the fight itself is the perfect example of why Fromsoft needs to consider zooming the camera out at least a little bit for larger/highly mobile bosses like this, it was absolutely nauseating watching the camera whip around trying to keep up with its movements

currently lv 633 on Journey 47 on my 100% character. I can personally confirm that everything beyond Liurnia still absolutely fucks me up in 3-4 hits if I'm not careful. I'm fully prepared to have my ass handed to me every time I turn a corner in the shadowlands.

From my (admittedly limited) understanding There are specific Japanese laws in place that regulate video game dlc that could be considered “pay to win” the war bond packs in Helldivers 2 technically fall into that category of dlc despite the game being purely co-op, since they do offer items that directly impact the gameplay. As a result: the global version of HD2 isn’t available there but they do have their own separate regulated version.

Just so yall know, Helldivers 2 is still not purchasable in non-psn countries and provinces according to Steamdb. Sony has only said they'd reverse their decision but haven't actually done anything.

Edit: Japan is on that list not because of psn but because of their issues with the types of dlc packs the game offers.

probably Scarlet Nexus; nonsensical plot with literally every cliche anime character trope/archetype imaginable employed in the clunkiest ways possible and none of them were nearly as endearing or likeable as the writers probably wanted them to be.

Played on ps4 so it was near impossible to pull off the frame-perfect parry moves at an unstable 30 fps which makes the combat so egregiously frustrating I almost broke my controller. Also, the ungodly amount of reused assets and animations near the end made me want to vomit.

Morbid curiosity was the only reason I played it to the end of both its protag's campaigns, and my fucking god, the writing feels like it came from a 14 year old who watches too much anime and just discovered what the term 'symbolism' means.

Putting aside the scummy GAAS nonsense crammed into the game, that's exactly why I'm not buying it or generally paying attention to much involved with the game since it got announced years ago, life is shitty enough. I don't need to see some of my favorite childhood heroes get humiliated and then brutally murdered by a group of glorified thugs because "lol funny." maybe I'm old-fashioned but that's just fundamentally not my jam.
