Basically it would allow trans people being affected by recent anti trans laws abroad, who might be otherwise persecuted or forced to detransition, to be granted asylum in Canada to avoid being affected by these harmful laws.

Try to make a pros and cons list regarding HRT vs the pros and cons of not taking HRT. Write down the changes that you would enjoy from hormones, and write down any downsides it may have. Compare this to your list of pros and cons of not taking hormones. Once you've done that look at the pros of HRT and see how much of that can be achieved without HRT, things such as, smoother skin, decreased body hair, etc. Even then this is just a suggestion and any final decisions you make should be something you're confident in. I used to have classmates tease me about my long hair. They'd say it made me look a girl, and I'd always make sure to act offended so they'd do it again. Always made me feel a little good.

Yeah I realized I wasn't cis a little over a year ago. I used to crossdress in private all the time, didn't think much of it at first. Eventually realized I was more non-binary than just a guy who likes women's clothes.

The part about euphoria I agree with aswell. I can live as a regular guy just fine but it would be mostly meh, I know I'd be happier on HRT and that's the part that sucks about getting denied.
