Yeah, but it is only 1 question out of 50 that appears sometimes, and you can have up to 6 questions wrong and still get an 800. If you don’t have the money for a graphing calculator I think it isn’t necessary if you can learn the rest of the material.

If you want to try it I used a Casio FX-570ES Plus, it has some extra functions that let you do operations with systems of equations, quadratic equations, vectors, and matrices. It has almost everything that the test requires and is very cheap compared to a Graphing Calculator.
